The Head of the Information Technology Department is responsible for leading and managing the University's IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This role ensures the availability, security, and efficiency of all technology services while supporting the University's academic and administrative objectives.
SCOPE & COORDINATION WITH DIGITAL INNOVATION DEPARTMENT:
The Head of IT owns the operation, security, reliability, and day-to-day management of the University's technology infrastructure and enterprise systems. Identification and piloting of new digital innovations (e.g. AI, automation, smart campus solutions) is owned by the Head of Digital Innovation; the Head of IT partners on technical feasibility, security review, and ongoing operation once a solution is approved for adoption.
